The price scale in 2022, one of the strongest in recent decades on a global scale, would leave Mexico with a level of inflation of 8.0% at the end of 2022, according to projections of the IMF (International Monetary Fund).
This is the highest level since 2014 and is twice the average that Mexico registered between 2004 and 2013.
The level of inflation projected for this year is aligned with that of USA and the Euro zone.
Other large economies in the world, such as the United Kingdom, Brazil and Russia would be closing the year with year-on-year inflation rates above 9 percent.
