"I’m happy to leave like this"said Sergio Busquets

The captain of FC Barcelona Sergio Busquets, who recently announced that he will leave the entity at the end of the current season, scongratulated him for winning the league title this Sunday: “I’m happy to leave like this”, he told the BarçaTV cameras.

“We have laid the foundations of a champion team. It is very difficult to win titles,” he declared after beating Espanyol 4-2, a result that meant the league title for Barcelona four days before the end of the championship.

“I wanted to leave the club winning titles. An important title, like the League. It is the prize for regularity. This is what we had set ourselves as a goal at the start of the season. That’s why I’m happy to leave like this,” said the veteran midfielder.

“They have given me many signs of support and recognition. I have spent many years like this. I have achieved many records,” he said.
