“I’m afraid she’ll go with my dad”: Carlos Massola’s daughter asks for help for her mother

MADRID, Spain.- Jessenia Queralt Massola Sablón, daughter of the late Cuban actor Carlos Massola, resorted on social media in a desperate request for help to obtain the penicillin needed by her mother, Bertha Mariela Sablón Roque, who suffers from lymphangitis.

Through the Facebook account of her father, who passed away in July of this year, Jessenia shared an emotional message: “I am asking for help for my mommy who is very sick and I am afraid that she will leave me with my dad. We really need help. Contact 53848662. The help is for penicillin.”

Jessenia explained that, due to her precarious economic situation, she does not have the necessary resources to buy the medicine that could save her mother’s life. “I don’t have the money right now to buy it so that my mommy can get better,” she commented in her post, accompanied by photos showing the deterioration in her mother’s health.

In addition to the images, Jessenia posted a video She reiterated her plea, expressing her fear of losing her, just a month after her father’s death. “I feel very ashamed of this, but I have a sick mother who is my life… and we have no other way to get money… we are humble weavers,” said the 18-year-old girl, visibly affected.
