The former Conservative Party (PC) reported through a statement that as of this May 7 alfred caesaraccused of being a collaborator of the Nicaraguan regime, is no longer the president of that political structure.
The letter details that “the undersigned Marvin Martínez Hernández, political secretary of the National Board of Directors of the Conservative Party (PC), makes public knowledge at the request of the secretary of the Ethics and Discipline Commission based on article 53.- subsection c) and d) of the statutes of the Conservative Party notify that the extension granted to the engineer Alfredo César A. has expired».

The group indicates that César has added 10 consecutive years holding the national presidency of the political organization. “He is thanked for the services provided,” the document indicates.
They also explain that in the PC there is no reelection for the position of national president and the period of this and the National Board of Directors is for five years, without mentioning that legally they no longer have legal personality.
Alfredo César did not want to leave the Presidency of the party
Marvin Martínez, secretary of the Conservative party, told Article 66 that in view of the holding of the 2022-2027 internal elections, the ethics and discipline commission asked Alfredo César for “accountability of all the assets that the party has had during his administration”, but he refused.
He further explained that in 2017 César was not elected as president of the party but rather requested an extension with an expiration date. “Although it was prolonged for five years, this became a 10-year presidency when the statute establishes that the Presidency is for five years,” he argued.
On the other hand, the secretary of the “headless” party denounced that as a result of Alfredo César being asked to render accounts, he disqualified the legitimate directors of the party and rather wanted another five years of extension, “when you cannot , it would already take 15 years for a request from him.
“If there is talk of a dictatorship of Daniel Ortega, the Conservado party does not accept re-election and the entire party requested that the expiration of the extension he had as president be put into practice,” he mentioned.

Regarding the cancellation of the legal personality of the PC, the political secretary said that a review resource was filed that was admitted by the attention of political parties of the Supreme Electoral Council and this has not been resolved.
He affirmed that they have “hope” that their legal personality will be returned to them. “We must comply with the statutes of the party (…) We are taking a firm step in the restructuring that the party is laying out.”
Regarding the future of Alfredo César, he indicated that he continues to be a member of the political structure, but without any power to hold.
