“Coomeva EPS presents a deterioration in the financial situation and presents very serious flaws in the provision of health services,” according to the liquidation report.
In the last three years, 30,000 guardianships and
193,100 complaints and claims for poor provision, especially with: children, pregnant women and patients with chronic and high-cost diseases.
It is also one of the most sanctioned, with $20 billion.
It had users in 24 departments of Colombia.
New assignment
Already the Health Promotion Entities: Nueva EPS, Sura, Sanitas, Salud Total, Coosalud, Famisanar, Compensar, Comfenalco Valle, Cajacopi, Mutual Ser, Comfaoriente, Salud Mía, Aliansalud and Mallamas EPS, are informed and notified of the transfer.
For this reason, “it is recommended that, in order to facilitate access to health services, the contributing member or head of the family contacts the assigned EPS and update your basic data and your family group”, was the call from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
