The National Road Safety Agency sends a message for the school break week.
With a call to the road actors, so that they can return home, the National Road Safety Agency, Ansv, launched a campaign to those who go to the country’s roads, for the school break week.
With the strategy of respecting traffic signs and executing a responsibility driving, it is sought with this national call, sensitizing all road actors.

According to the National Road Safety Observatory, during the 2024 recess, 220 people died and 572 were injured in road accidents in Colombia.
Of the deceased, 63% were motorcyclists, 21% pedestrians, 8% vehicle occupants and 8% cyclists. Bogotá, Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Cundinamarca and Santander were the territories with more victims.
Infrastructure director and vehicles, Luis Yair Aguilar said: “With life we unite we want to remember that on the road we are not alone: every decision we make can save or put a life at risk. We want families to enjoy their rest and that they all get safe home.”
The actions for the 2025 school break, which will be developed by the National Road Safety Agency, will have the following activities
Via Presence: The ANSV will be in transport terminals, tolls and safe points next to the DITRA, Traffic Organisms and Local Authorities, with emphasis on October 3, 10, 11 and 13, critical dates in mobility.
Pedagogy and prevention: the preoperational review of vehicles, respect for speed limits and compliance with traffic standards will be promoted.

Regional actions: pedagogical points will be installed to prevent fauna running over in Antioquia, Nariño, Cundinamarca and Boyacá, and sensitization days will be held in front of this issue in grass terminals, Cúcuta, Villavicencio and San José del Guaviare.
With these actions, the National Road Safety Agency reaffirms its commitment to reduce accidents in this season and remember that all lives import and “the best destination will always be home.”
