In the PLRA, Efraín Alegre generates more and more rejection, beginning with the board that today disavowed him in the accusation of fraud and continuing with the other referents, who ask that he step aside.
In the opinion of the liberal senator Fernando Silva Facetti, the Concertación continues to be an interesting electoral tool to reach power, but only if the entire opposition is included, however, he clarified that Efraín Alegre failed to motivate the non-partisan voter.
“Einstein’s thesis that, if you expect something different, don’t do the same thing again, we are going to have to pay the cost in the next five years, cI believe that Efraín at some point has to look in the mirror and realize that the deadlines have already expired and that, if he still has a vestige of affection for his party, he should step aside “said Silva Facetti.
Regarding Alegre’s position; who got on the car launched by Paraguayo Cubas; he clarified that, again, that is a personal position of Alegre and not like that, of the PLRA, whose board of directors has not met for six months and that, last time, the reason was the approval of the budget for the elections.

The senator recalled that the electoral process is a trial that has its deadlines and that begins with the call for elections, continues with the verification of machines, the composition of tables, etc. and that, within that time, the complaint must be filed.
“When there is no record or complaint at the polling station, the process is validatedwe cannot allege our own clumsiness because at every table in the country there is an opposition president and vice president,” he recalled.
