The Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) enabled an option on their website to validate certificates doctors up to 30 days of rest (for any pathology). The goal is that there are no crowds in their service centers.
Before, you could only validate the certificates virtually when the repose It was up to three days. The validation can be done up to eight days after completion of the Medical rest.

- Go to the page of IESS

- Write your ID number and password.
