Dr. Evelyn Quirós, Plant Breeder at the Institute for Agricultural Innovation of Panama (IDIAP), spoke about the technological dissemination day that includes several rice projects, including one in development with the IPT La Pintada, in Coclé.
Research into IDIAP rice projects is linked to agricultural schools, depending on the educational need, said Dr. Quirós.
«Our IDIAP rice team also conducts rice trials on INA farms, and from there, depending on the needs of the school, the targeted exchange of knowledge is carried out.»
