IDAAN will carry out maintenance on the Jaime Díaz Quintero water treatment plant on Thursday, June 8

The Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN), announces that tomorrow, Thursday, June 8, the Jaime Díaz Quintero water treatment plant will operate at 50% of its capacity for cleaning work in sedimentators #1 and #2, in order to guarantee the quality of drinking water and improve plant production.

The work that will be carried out from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will affect the service with low pressures in the district of Barrio Colón downtown and lack of supply in the districts of Guadalupe, El Coco, Playa Leona and Puerto Caimito in the district of La Chorrera, as well as in the corregimiento Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and part of Vista Alegre in the district of Arraiján.

All measures will be taken to reduce the effects of this maintenance, attending sensitive points such as hospitals in the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján that are affected through cisterns.

IDAAN apologizes for the inconvenience and recommends making the necessary preparations to avoid shortages during the time the work lasts and the system recovers.
