The Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) announces that on Thursday, February 2, the Jaime Díaz Quintero water treatment plant will operate at 50% of its capacity due to cleaning work in sedimentators #1 and #2.
The work will be carried out from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will affect the water service with low pressures in the Corregimiento of El Coco and Guadalupe and lack of supply in Playa Leona, Barriadas Costa Oeste, Villas de Costa West, Residencial Don Juan and surroundings, as well as Jardines de Mastranto, Lomas de Mastranto in the district of La Chorrera, in turn the Corregimiento Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and part of Vista Alegre in the district of Arraiján.
All necessary measures will be taken to reduce the effects of this maintenance, attending to sensitive points such as the hospitals in the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján that are affected through tank cars.
The IDAAN recommends taking the necessary measures to avoid shortages during the time that the works last and the system recovers.
