In the midst of desperation to ask for support in disseminating the case of his youngest daughter, who has been missing since November 17, 2025, a father contacted our correspondent from the province of Caravelí, seeking to find his daughter, who was taken from her home by her own mother.
With the express authorization of her father, the name of the minor is released Gavina del Valle Gómez Ávila, 3 years old, with the sole objective of alerting the population and facilitating their prompt location.
He father, Edwin Gómez Cóndorreported that he has legal possession of the minor. He points out that days before the disappearance he voluntarily left his daughter with her mothersince she asked him to spend a moment with the girl. Confident in this, the father went to work, without imagining that later he would never hear from his daughter again.
According to the complaint, the minor was stolen from her home located in the district of San Clemente, province of Piscowhen she was under the care of her mother, who did not return her on the agreed date.
According to the documentation in the father’s possession, the mother, Rogetsi Vicmari Ávila Rivas (Venezuelan)also had to pay monthly alimony of S/ 300. However, after what happened, the parent filed a complaint for child abduction.
The father reported that the Formal complaint was filed at the Huamaní PNP Police Stationwhere he recorded the abduction of his daughter and requested that the corresponding search actions be activated.
Since then, Edwin Gómez Cóndor has been traveling throughout the Ica region, visiting districts, markets, terminals and busy areas, putting up posters with her daughter’s photo and details, in the hope that someone has seen her and can provide information that will help find her whereabouts.
Likewise, the father stated that he has received information from third parties who would have seen the minor near the borderwhich generates fear that she is being transferred to Ecuador or Colombia, without the corresponding documentation.
Furthermore, he pointed out that because he is permanently dedicated to searching for his daughter, he has had to being absent from your workplace, which has meant losing your jobleaving him in a very difficult economic situation while continuing this fight.
In a moving message, he expressed: “I am a desperate father looking for my daughter. I have lost my job for not stopping looking for her, but I am not going to give up until I find her”.
