Estefanía Ibarra not only prepares to represent Bolivia in the Miss Charm International Contest, but also builds a career as a technical soccer director. Bachelor of Business Administration, with training in digital marketing and a solid social vocation, founded together, a project that Empuera girls and adolescents in a vulnerable situation through sport.
She tells how she turned her story into a platform to inspire and protect other women. Estefanía is proof that molds can be broken and lead from multiple fronts with purpose, passion and courage.
How did you receive the news that you will represent Bolivia at the Miss Charm?
With a lot of gratitude, happiness and commitment. These types of opportunities are unique and motivate me to continue working with discipline, delivery and, above all, with much love for my country.
What does it mean to bring the country’s band in an international contest?
Calling me Bolivia is a privilege and great responsibility. It means being the voice and the reflection of millions of Bolivians fighting, dreaming and working day by day with a lot of effort and dedication. I am proud to know that, in every step I take, I am showing what we are: a diverse, resilient country, full of history and wonderful people.
What qualities do you think they distinguish you in front of other candidates?
I think each candidate has a unique and authentic light. I am a woman who, in her day to day, joins different worlds: business, sports and social.
I have a degree in Business Administration, I am preparing to be a technical director of Soccer, I volunteer in different institutions of my city and fight a social project that seeks to empower girls and adolescents in vulnerable situation through sport.
I not only have personal goals, but also a purpose. I consider myself authentic, disciplined and with a strong vocation of service, and I think that combination makes me unique.
What message do you want to convey to the world from Miss Charm’s stage?
I want to tell the world that dreams have no gender or borders. From Bolivia, I want to demonstrate that beauty with purpose becomes action: in education, in opportunities and open doors.
Through playing together, my message is clear: demonstrate that sport can change lives, especially in vulnerable contexts. He teaches discipline, teamwork, resilience and respect; It helps improve self -confidence.
May my voice serve to amplify theirs. And if a girl sees me and thinks “I can”, then my message will have fulfilled her goal.
What motivated you to study to be a technical director of Soccer?
From baby I felt a very special connection with football, not only as sport, but as a transformation tool.
My main motivation were always my grandparents. I enjoy this sport since I have reason and everything I knew about my favorite sport was thanks to them.
But my main source of inspiration was always my grandmother Sonia. His strength, courage, dedication and courage to fight stereotypes and stand out in his career and work, at times when he was very difficult (or even unthinkable) that a woman came so far, marked a before and after in my family. She motivated all the women of the family to work hard and make our way in what we are passionate about.
What is the world of beauty with that of sport?
Beauty goes beyond the physical: it is attitude, discipline, trust and health.
Sport taught me to be strong, resilient and respect my body. Combining both worlds allows me to show that we are multifaceted, that we break stereotypes and build an authentic and powerful version of ourselves.
Do you see yourself directing a professional team in the future?
Yes, definitely. I think there is no greater dream for a football lover than to lead to his selection and take her to a World Cup.
I study and prepare because I want to be in that space where decisions are made, players are formed and the growth of women’s football is promoted. I know that the road is not easy, but with passion and dedication, I know it is possible.
Have you had to face prejudices for your double facet of model and future DT?
Often people believe that a woman cannot be part of football and, at the same time, belong to the world of beauty. We are required to choose, fit on a single label.
But I decided not to limit myself and show that I can be everything that I propose, so the way becomes difficult.
And beyond prejudices, I also faced much more hard situations.
When I began to get involved professionally in football, working in a company related to sport, I was a victim of harassment and attempt to rape. I don’t get justice.
That experience marked me deeply. I was completely damaged, to the point of taking me to such a severe crisis that I tried to end my life.
Could you get ahead?
Here I am, and standing. With more force than ever, because I understood that I could not allow fear or pain to define my story.
Therefore, in playing together, I created a space where no girl or teenager has to go through what I lived. We create a safe and real empowerment environment. Because sport can transform, yes but first it must protect.
Do you feel that your story can inspire other women?
I think that sharing my story can help other women and girls see that it is possible to follow their passions without giving up any part of themselves.
I want them to know that breaking molds and chasing dreams is brave and necessary, and that we all deserve safe spaces to grow and shine.
What advice would you give to a young woman who wants to follow multiple passions?
That he dares, do not let him be typecast or that fear turns off the dream.
Being multifaceted is a strength. With discipline, self -love and purpose, everything is possible.
You don’t have to choose a single version of yourself: it can be all at once.
