The organizations or relatives of detainees who were informed that they would have a hearing with the delegates of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) received a brief explanation of the methodology that will be developed in these meetings, meetings last three minutes maximum and they must send their documents digitally, the attendees explained. It is expected that on Tuesday they will visit the prisons of Chonchocoro, San Pedro and Miraflores.

25 IACHR commissioners arrived in Bolivia and since this Monday they are holding meetings with people, relatives and organizations that processed hearings to describe the alleged violation of human rights of their relatives. The commissioners will visit this Tuesday the maximum security prison of Chonchocoro de La Paz and will hold a meeting with the governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, who has been in preventive detention since December 29, 2022 accused of the case of alleged ‘coup I’, confirmed his lawyer, Martín Camacho, who stated that the meeting is expected to take place in the course of the morning.

Likewise, David Inca announced that on Wednesday the mission will arrive in the city of Cochabamba where they also have an agenda of audiences with the people who requested those meetings.
