Ortega’s witnesses to accuse Monsignor Álvarez
Morazán recently revealed that the Ortega y Murillo regime will use 16 witnesses in the impeachment trial against Monsignor Rolando Álvarez, for which no start date is known.
The Ortega court charges the religious leader for the alleged crimes of conspiracy to undermine national integrity and propagation of false news.
Among the witnesses is the propagandist of the regime Elba Marina Rayo who works in “Radio Insurrection” that operates within the Department of the FSLN. “From where the repression of April 2018 was directed. Another of the witnesses is Gabriela Alejandra Rayo Castro, wife of the nephew of the “chief of the Matagalpa paramilitaries, Lalo Soza. The entire family boasts of their “actions” in favor of the criminal regime of the Ortega Murillo. Morazán published images of the witness where she poses next to the mayor of Matagalpa, Sadrach Zeledón, sanctioned by the United States.
Emiliano Antonio Pérez Castro, brother of former commissioner Marvin Pérez, is also part of the witness steamroller that the dictatorship will use in the impeachment trial against Monsignor Rolando Álvarez. Morazán affirms that the witness has family in the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), since “his sister-in-law is Judge Sheyla Patricia Delgado Medrano. He has wanted to enter the State for years ».
On January 10, Bishop Álvarez was taken to an initial hearing and an Ortega judge sent him to trial and maintained the precautionary measure of house arrest.
