Andrea de Jesús Lazala is the creator of “César y Elianny, sale of industrial products”, and a great entrepreneur

Andrea de Jesús Lazala firmly believes in work, “and does it”. She is the creator of an enterprise called “César and Elianny, sale of industrial products”, and a woman determined to be more.

His business belongs to the segment of hair lines, personal care products and household cleaning products. As she moves forward, she could further diversify her portfolio, because Andrea is a lady of high aspirations. And she doesn’t hide it.

“I make chemical and natural products and I do it because this is the fundamental basis for my and my family’s daily sustenance,” the 33-year-old woman tells the elCaribe newspaper, who contacted her to learn about her story and what she does.

Andrea’s is a small company located in the Monseñor Nouel province, which started from precariousness, but has been walking little by little and maintains a tendency to become stronger, as long as it continues to be planted on firm and productive land.

“It’s what I try to do every day; I make an effort for that, and thank God I have been getting support along the way, ”she says, in a mid-morning conversation.

Even though the “earnings” of the business were very low at the beginning, “things” have been improving and now he has a monthly income of around RD$30,000. That can vary depending on a series of variables and imponderables that occur in a business of any kind.

“I had taken a course in 2013 in the place where I started working, but it didn’t go very well and I stopped. So in 2019 I told myself that I had to make my own products. And even though I started, the reality is that I didn’t have the resources for it and it was a bit forced”, she recalls.

She wasn’t daunted and she couldn’t afford to either, especially since there are two children who depend on her.

Fortunately, a friend approached her and suggested that she attend a meeting related to the card and the Solidarity Program (currently called Supérate, since the current government changed its name), because “there they were providing some facilities that fit perfectly for the project that had been set in his head.

That this happened was a kind of blessing, because from then on his life took a certain turn. They included her in a program for entrepreneurs, which is a sort of help umbrella for women who have business ideas that they want to “take off” and plans to improve, especially if these women lack “silver” (money). It was precisely the case of Andrea.

“I didn’t stop, I kept climbing, always aiming to grow and improve myself. I have gained a lot of knowledge and I feel that through the program I have gained strength and skills. Everything I have is thanks to that program,” he indicates.

She has been at Supérate for nearly 14 years, but just one year ago she belongs to the Mujeres SuperEmprendedoras project; a project that is something like an incubator or push path.

She has been operating her business for three years and is banked. Andrea has been nominated in the Economic Development and/or Overcoming Limitations category, which is one of the categories of the Women Super Entrepreneurs award. The award is called Mujer Supérate.

State support

The government, according to information provided last December, has granted loans to 300 women from the “SuperEmprendedoras” project, and has also offered technical advice on issues such as financial management, customer service, improvement of processes and products, and labeling, among others. others. Andrea Lazala is among those beneficiaries. By then, it was said that Supérate is the Government’s main anti-poverty program and is designed in a comprehensive manner. Super Emprendedoras is a “friend’s foot” for women who seek to start entrepreneurship projects, reduce poverty and increase business skills.

The connection and products that it makes and markets

In detail, what Andrea makes is rosemary and ginger shampoo, moisturizing mask, molasses jelly, hair loss and growth dropper, drops with vitamin E, and other products, including household cleaning products.

He is currently in the process of preparing the bar code registry and his aspiration is to sell to large businesses. His buyers, at the moment, are in the area where he lives, including companies to which he sells wholesale. “But I want to sell to supermarkets and stores,” he says. He can be contacted via his social networks, such as @cesar_elianny_productos, and by phone at 829-459-5070.
