“I think there will be a great division of votes in the 2024 elections”, Anel Flores

Angel Valdes | June 26, 2023

The businessman and politician, Anel “Bolo” Flores, in an interview with Radio Panama, made an analysis of what happened in the PRD primaries, the meetings to unify the party, the phenomenon of candidates registered in the group but who run either for the independent candidacy or in other parties.

Flores considered that the PRD party must come together between now and September for the possible alliances that can be made «You see political opponents in all the parties and there are important frictions and then they will have to find a way for the waters to return to their level I think that this will happen in the coming months.

Regarding the general elections of May 2024, Flores considers that there will be a strong division of votes «I think there will be a great division of votes at the national level, I see an RM party with a very solid vote in favor of its candidate, the PRD It has a very important national structure, but in between there are several parties with the exception of Panameñismo, which is always strong and has a good structure. The others are smaller parties that do not have a national structure as such, the Popular Party, with 18,000 members, led by Martín Torrijos, you have a Lombana with a party of several thousand adherents but without experience in elections at the national level
