With a purely baseball metaphor – the sport of his passions – President Andrés Manuel López Obrador sent a message to his opponents: Going into my 70s (years of age) and facing a gang of ruffians on a daily basis, I still macaneo. We are going to continue winning.

On his social networks, the country’s president wrote that message amid the stream of texts, tweets and others that opposition figures issued after the appointment of Minister Norma Lucía Piña Hernández as president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation , ensuring that defeats accumulate for the President and his project.

The man from Tabasco accompanied his message yesterday with the video of a baseball match, wearing his number one jersey and in which he hit two hits on offense and scored a run, while on defense he got an out played as first base.
