Later, in a press conference from Xochimilco, the president was again questioned about her political aspirations towards 2024 and reiterated her response.
“First, the Head of Government, is the work we have at this time. And when it comes, we will be there in the survey,” said the president.
“Do you want to be president, doctor?”, they asked. “Yes, I do want to be president,” she replied.
Although her name had appeared in different surveys and is part of the so-called “corcholatas” of López Obrador, each time she was questioned on the subject, the head of government preferred not to confirm her aspirations, until today.
