“I defend my rights”: Congressman Kira Alcarraz justifies and questions the actions of the SAT after a complaint of aggression

The congresswoman Kira Alcarraz He publicly responded on Wednesday to the complaint filed against him for alleged assault on an inspector of the Tax Administration Service (SAT) of Lima during an operation in San Juan de Miraflores.

The incident occurred on Monday, January 5, when SAT personnel intercepted a vehicle with an arrest warrant for traffic debts for violations.

Alcarraz, who was a passenger in the car, was accused by the worker of slapping him and stealing his cell phone when trying to stop the entry of the vehicle, according to police reports recorded at the local police station.

Through her X account, the parliamentarian rejected the accusations and questioned the procedure applied by the entity.

“I leave the facts in the hands of the authorities. The SAT acted arbitrarily, without notification or due procedure. I defend my rights and those of thousands of drivers. Enough of abuses and improper charges,” the congresswoman wrote.
