I am solely responsible for the actions in Los Pozos, Caquetá: President Gustavo Petro

Through his Twitter account, President Gustavo Petro responded emphatically to the statements of General Henry Sanabria, director of the National Police, in response to the events that occurred in Los Pozos, Caquetá, weeks ago.

The president indicated that he is “the commander in chief of the Military Forces” and that consequently, “I am solely responsible for the actions in Los Pozos, Caquetá.”

The foregoing is in response to the statements by Sanabria, who pointed out that what happened in said area of ​​the country, where more than 70 police officers were detained, Yes, it was a kidnapping and that those responsible would have pressured the National Government not to use that word but to classify it as a “humanitarian siege.”
