"I also sang Necklace of Fine Pearls": Francia Márquez a Marbelle, and the singer replied

The discussion in networks between Marbelle and Francia Márquez continues, and with them hundreds of users on one side and the other, this time the candidate for the Vice Presidency recalled her audition on the X Factor and her “joy” at meeting the artist.

Colombia News.

The “fight” on social networks that began with a message from “Cacas and King Kong” and a photo of Petro and Francia Márquez, published by Marbelle, has a new chapter: the vice-presidential candidate replied that they do not understand “why so much hate” and singer who “is not a matter of skin color”.

This Saturday, on Márquez’s Twitter, an extensive message was published in which she explains that as a child and adolescent, she also admired Marbelle.

‘fine pearl necklace’

That iconic song that accompanied hundreds of teenagers, ‘Collar de Perlas Finas’, was also heard and excited by the young women of Suárez Cauca, according to Márquez.

In the letter it is read that he even went to participate in the X Factor when the singer, José Gaviria and Juan Carlos Coronel were jurors.

And that although he didn’t make it to the auditions, he returned to his house in the mountains of Cauca happy and to tell everyone that he had met Marbelle.

«Dear @Marbelle30 today life put me on another path, fight to become the Vice President of Colombia, “he wrote.

The last message: “I can only thank you for having allowed us in our youth to dance with joy the Necklace of Fine Pearls.”

This is read on Marquez’s Twitter:

The two have decided to spend time through their social networks.

Marbelle responded to these messages with an emoji, which refers to ‘laziness’.

And then, he answered her, with the burlesque and mocking tone that he usually uses against Gustavo Bolívar, «I invite you to debate with your opponents, madam, not with me! Go and give an ANCESTRAL hug to PETRO AND BOBOLIVAR… they are leaving her very badly!” (This is how it is written on Twitter.

There has been no lack of likes, retweets, quoted tweets with a message of support for Marbelle or Francia Márquez; some with ridicule, insults, bullying, others more moderate.

A fight with effects

For Marbelle at least, this fight has led to, for example, a concert contract being cancelled.

She will no longer perform in Pasto at a concert that she would give on May 7, the organizers reported it on Wednesday night, and in Villavicencio there was also controversy and indignation against the singer and they asked that she not perform at ExpoMalocas. There she did show up.

The Buenos Aires artist insists on her position of strong criticism, although many question her for responding in a “mocking” manner and with insults.

The Marbelle concert in Pasto is no longer going, and in Villavicencio they ‘reject’ that it be presented at ExpoMalocas

While she is already facing two criminal complaints filed for racism and discrimination, and other groups have also threatened to sue her.

She insists her fight with France “isn’t about skin color,” but her King Kong message has sparked outrage.

For others, the debate should focus on the seemingly unlimited attacks on social networks, how racism is occurring in the country and there are even voices calling for more severe legislation to deal with discrimination in general.
