Yesterday, the Senate sent to different committees the hydrocarbon bills in the Dominican Republic, the Public Trust and Public Procurement, which were deposited by the Executive Power.
The president of the Upper House, Eduardo Estrella (Santiago), sent the draft law on hydrocarbons to the Permanent Commission on Industry and Commerce and Free Zones, chaired by Senator Alexis Victoria (María Trinidad Sánchez).
The Senate’s Permanent Finance Commission, chaired by Senator Faride Raful, is in charge of the bills that establish the applicable regime for the regulation of the public trust in the Dominican Republic and the bill on public procurement.
The president of the Senate also submitted and reintroduced several bills that remain in the different bicameral, permanent and special commissions.
