Cotui, Sanchez Ramirez. – Dozens of people went to the spas set up by the relief agencies located on the Yuna and Chacuey rivers in Cotuí, as well as Boca de Camú in Villa la Mata, and Payabo in Cevicos.
The bathers enjoyed the crystal clear waters of the natural sources after the authorities ordered the opening and visit to these ecological spaces, as the weather conditions in this area improved.
The spas with the highest number of vacationers are El Puente, located on the Yuna River, and Boca de Camú, in La Bija de Villa La Mata.

Bathers were also allowed to enter the water sources of the Tabacalera and Chulumpun spas, located in the municipal districts of Quitasueño and Platanal that are part of the municipality of Cotuí.
Other places where people were allowed to enter are the La Estancia and Payabo spas in Cevicos and Blanquita on the Chacuey river in Cotuí.
A wide surveillance device was placed in those places police and brigade members from the institutions of the provincial emergency committee Holy Week 2022, to avoid unfortunate situations in the final days of the Holy Week holiday that ends this Sunday.
The provincial governor, Cristiana Rodríguez, together with Colonel Agustín Luzón, and the person in charge of Civil Defense, Bartolo Muñoz, announced in the morning the opening of the spas that had been closed due to weather conditions.
