The Ministry of Health recalled that, in addition to applying the first and second doses against COVID-19, the booster doses must be received within the established time, in order to avoid the development of serious conditions and, consequently, reduce the possibility of dying from this cause, in case of being infected by the virus.
The health portfolio insisted that all vaccines protect, are reliable and are free. In this sense, our country has all the necessary doses for vaccination and they are still available in all vaccination centers.
It should be remembered that the application is enabled for people over five years of age, being considered a complete scheme with two doses. From 12 years of age onwards, the third dose or first booster dose is included and, from 18 years of age, it is already possible to access the fourth dose or second booster.
Likewise, to immunize the entire population, brigades travel throughout the country from house to house, to facilitate the application of the doses and complete the scheme, even in the most remote or difficult-to-access populations.
