“All works are recognized. It is a very important effort both neighbors, businesses, educational and government institutions,” said Carlos Cervantes, coordinator of the Authority of the Historic Center (ACH), which organizes the festival together with the City Ministry of Tourism and the Historic Center Trust (FCH).
Those who wish to participate can register for free from October 6 to 25 in the OFFICIAL Page of the Authority of the Historic Center where a registration form .
The installation of the offerings will be held from October 24 to 27 and the public can visit them from October 28 to November 3.
Requirements to participate:
- Offerings must be exhibited in a public space.
- Independent floral arrangements will not be allowed, only as a complement to offerings or catrinas.
- Narrative or visual language.
- Placement of safe materials for visitors or real estate.
- Each participant will be responsible for the care and disassembly of their cultural proposal.
The festival will close with Catrina Fest, a parade with models dressed and characterized as catrinas in the Plaza del Seminario on November 7. The parade is a community initiative of designers and businesses of the ‘Calle de las Novias’ in the Republic of Chile and the Republic of Ecuador.
