Human Rights publishes booklets on religious freedom

The Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC) released the booklets this week What is religious freedom and why protect it? and How to guarantee equality and combat religious discrimination?.Human Rights publishes booklets on religious freedom

The material was prepared in partnership with the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), and aims to inform the population about the importance of defending religious diversity and combating discrimination.

The booklets explain concepts such as religions, beliefs and different forms of discrimination. They also show which bodies can be contacted by the population in case of violation of the right to religious freedom, such as the Public Defender’s Office, the National Human Rights Ombudsman’s Office (ONDH) and the Public Ministry.]

Guides can be downloaded from website of the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship.
