The Canelones Justice charged three men with the murder of the 25-year-old man whose head appeared floating inside a garbage bag in a settlement in Barros Blancos. Initially, five people had been arrested and one charged, but in the last few hours two more were charged, reported the Canelones Police Headquarters.
The defendants are men aged 33, 64 and 30 years. The first was accused of the alleged commission as the author of a crime of internal arms and ammunition trafficking in the modality of possession in deposit and a continuous crime of drug dealing, while the second and third a crime of association to committing a crime and a crime of aggravated drug dealing, respectively.
In the raid that took place at the home of the former —who has 11 criminal records for the crimes of theft, robbery, reception, private violence and possession of narcotics— a 9-millimeter pistol with a charger was seized, 23 cartridges of the same caliber, a revolver, nine 32 caliber cartridges, cash, doses of base paste, marijuana and 6 cell phones.
The man’s head appeared on March 23 and the Police estimated that the homicide had been committed no more than 48 hours earlier. Authorities managed to identify the victim the next day. It is about a 25-year-old man with no criminal record.
