With the new title Flamengo becomes the second Brazilian club to have won the top titles twice in the same season (Brazilian Championship and Copa Libertadores), a feat it achieved in 2019 and which it now repeated in 2025. The other clubs in the country that have won the Libertadores and the Brazilian Championship in the same year are Santos (in 1962 and 1963) and Botafogo (2024).
