A 7-year-old girl and her puppy died after being crushed by a wall of the building next to her home, in the Ancash region. The minor’s mother denounced an alleged negligence of her neighbor.
According to the lady, her daughter was on the roof of her house with her pet, in the area of Villón Bajo (city of Huaraz). However, when the woman went down to the first floor of her home, she heard a loud impact on the ceiling.
Going up, he saw that the wall of an adjoining building collapsed and crushed his youngest daughter along with the dog. Although the little girl was taken to the Víctor Ramos hospital in Huaraz, she did not resist and died.
“Mommy told me I’m going to play with my puppy on the roof. When I go up, she was already buried with the wall on top”, The affected mother declared to the 24 Hours newscast.

The mother reported to the authorities that the neighbors (owners of the adjoining property) were carrying out construction work and, presumably, this would have caused the wall to give way.
The Huaraz Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the case and initiated the respective investigations together with the municipal authorities.
