A huaico occurred in the Andahuaylla sector, in the province of Ambo, Huánuco region, buried a woman inside her home and blocked the central highway for more than six hours.

The Provincial Municipality of Ambo reported that the main damages were recorded on the Central Highway, specifically in the areas of Huaylla and Huaracalla, where long lines of vehicles were formed.

The death of Mrs. Clara Lozano Cueva was also reported, who was dragged by the mud after the Huaico entered her home directly. Heavy machinery carried out the cleaning work and the traffic was already restored.
