Going to a nightclub in the Vilcacoto annex, in Huancayo to celebrate the farewell to the year 2024, ended up being fatal for a young man who was murdered outside the establishment, after being attacked by a group of 8 subjects. One of them inflicted a fatal stab wound on the right side of the chest, then pretended to have been a robbery victim.
It happened around 1:30 in the morning, the victim who was identified as Daniel Chapay Huaroc (19), was brutally beaten by about 8 subjects, who despite being the majority, one of them stabbed him in the right side. of the thorax. Everything was seen by several people who were in the Plaza de Vilcacoto. A couple tried to stop the attackers and that is where they fled aboard another black vehicle heading to the Uñas annex.
The victim was helped by the couple who referred him as an emergency to the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital in Huancayo, where the doctor on duty only indicated that he was no longer alive, due to lack of medical assistance.
The witnesses managed to recognize two of the attackers, they were identified as brothers Michael and Brayton, residing in Uñas. With this information, the agents of the Huancayo Police Station began the search, finding the address of the alleged aggressors, starting first with Brayton’s father, who mentioned that his son had been the victim of robbery by a group of 7 subjects, where one of them, a minor, was captured.
The police transferred Brayton Carlos Quinto Huarcaya (25) to the police station as a detainee, after he was identified by witnesses as the one who stabbed the victim in the fight.
Brayton was detained for the alleged crime against life, body and health, in the form of homicide. The Public Ministry was notified.
