A 13-year-old teenager would have been the victim of an alleged sexual assault after a patron saint’s day party in the district of Huayucachi, a fact that is being investigated by the National Police of Peru, following a complaint filed by the minor’s mother.
Officers from the PNP Chilca Police Station carried out immediate procedures that allowed the arrest of a 23-year-old young man, who is being investigated for his alleged participation as a co-author of the crime, while actions continue to locate the main person involved.
The Police reported that the case is under investigation in accordance with the law and reiterated its commitment to the protection of girls, boys and adolescents, as well as the fight against crimes that affect the vulnerable population.
