A tragic accident left the death of a young driver and two injured people, after a van truck crashed into a house located in Jr. Huaytapallana with a railroad, in the district of El Tambo.

The victim, identified as Juan David Gutiérrez, 20, lost his life instantly after the violent impact. According to Samu staff and firefighters who arrived at the scene, the young man no longer presented vital signs at the time of being treated.
Next to him, Yonel Jurco Rodríguez and Carlos Julián Machuca were traveling, who resulted in multiple injuries and were transferred to the nearest hospital.

The owner of the affected housing said he was sleeping with his family when they felt a strong tremor. “We left and saw that a truck had crashed into the wall, the driver was already dead,” he said.
Commander Chang, from the El Tambo police station, indicated that the result of the ethyl dosage made to the driver threw 1.6 grams of alcohol per liter of blood, which confirms that he was drunk at the time of the accident.
