The Mantaro Valley Health Network inaugurated two level I-1 facilities in Huancayo. The first is located in the community of Auray in Chilca, an area that serves 7 thousand users and the second is in Lora in the district of El Tambo with 18 thousand users registered for health.
“The work of all those involved in putting these health facilities into operation is recognized, as they also create jobs for professionals. Without a doubt, health is an important pillar in this current regional management,” emphasized the Deputy Manager of Social Development of the Regional Government of Junín, Rudy Guerra Ricse.
The health facilities that were inaugurated are category I-1, and will have services such as medicine, obstetrics, physical therapy, vaccination, pharmacy, topical, Growth and Development Control (CRED) and others, which will benefit the population by allowing health services to be brought closer and decentralized. In addition, a nursing technician, a licensed nurse and a traveling doctor will provide the respective care.
“It is a joint effort by the community. This is a health facility with many needs ahead and together those needs will be met with the effort of everyone. The most important thing is the preventive promotional issue, because it allows for comprehensive health care.”said Gabriel Borrovic Alcibiades, deputy director of Diresa Junín.
