Hundreds of local, national and foreign tourists who visited the snowy of Huaytapallana during Holy Week, found not only imposing landscapes and a spiritual connection with nature, but also security and constant assistance thanks to the work of the Serenazgo rescue brigade of Huancayo.

During Thursday and Good Friday, days of greater influx to the Natural Sanctuary, the rescue team of the citizen security management deployed a special operation to provide support to visitors. Throughout the busiest routes, points of attention were installed where tourists received guidance, security recommendations and first aid if necessary.

The team was duly equipped with rescue and communication tools to attend any emergency, which gave visitors peace of mind during its journey more than 5,000 meters above sea level. With this operation, the Municipality of Huancayo, through its rescue brigade, not only protected the safety of tourists, but strengthened the image of Huaytapallana as a safe tourist destination.
