Huancayo: They will plant 7,000 pine and quinual seedlings to recover Sapallanga meadows

With the objective of recovering 100 hectares of grasslands in the Malaypata-Huacacorral area of ​​the Sapallanga community, located in the province of Huancayo, the Agro Rural program of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation announced that they will make more than 7,000 pine and quinual seedlings.

The reforestation day will take place this Saturday, November 9, in the Malaypata – Huacacorral area, where 10,000 meters of infiltration ditches have been enabled, where 2,000 queuña seedlings and 5,000 radiata pine seedlings will be planted in the gullies; In addition, the installation of cultivated pastures is planned.

This year, Midagri plans to recover 600 hectares of grasslands in various micro-basins in the region: 100 in the Chanchas micro-basin, 200 in the Río Acamayo micro-basin, 100 in the Río Seco micro-basin and 200 in the Palcamayo micro-basin.
