They saw him walking and he disappeared. His relatives were looking for him and did not find him until some shepherd children saw the skeletal remains of a person and alerted the authorities. The victim, about 60 years old, was on some thorns and rocks on the Killichallo hill in the Chongos Bajo district. By the clothing the mourners recognized their loved one who was deaf and mute.
They found him after more than 14 months. It was at noon that the sons of the farmer, Eleuterio Ancalle, who was grazing his sheep, saw the remains and ran to tell their father.
After confirming the discovery, Eleuterio informed the lieutenant governor, Eulalia Gil, and the police officers at the Chongos Bajo rapid aid station. The agents went to Killichallo hill, Ñuñuulo area, after 15 minutes of walking, they found that there were human remains (skull, bones, hair and clothing).
Seincri police detailed that the victim was on some thorns and rocks. Among the bones were the items of clothing: a blue wool sweatshirt, a cap, a red shirt with black checks, and two sandals.
