Of the 41 students in the classroom of a private school who were sent to quarantine, some 20 are insured and 21 students are not insured to EsSalud, for which they coordinated with the La Libertad Health Center, so that health personnel carry out the screening according to the protocol of the epidemiological fence.
Carlos Meza noted that the minor under 14 years of age is undergoing treatment and quarantined at his home for 7 days and after this period he will be discharged to return to school.
After monitoring the case, it was learned that the minor is progressing favorably and only paracetamol was prescribed, since he does not have major complications. Likewise, he said that both EsSalud and the Minsa are on alert to the detection of new cases.
He said that in this third wave, the symptoms of covid are like the flu, but patients with a positive diagnosis must comply with the quarantine to avoid contagion to more people.
