The relatives of Cristian Caysahuana Rojas (18) are desperately searching for the body of the university student, who fell into the Mantaro River. According to his sister Mariluz Caysahuana, the boy left his home located in San Agustín de Cajas early, along with a friend with whom he had been drinking liquor.
However, for a moment, he no longer saw him, when suddenly the victim screamed for help, when the flow of the Mantaro River swept him away.
They look for it. Yesterday afternoon, the rescue group of the Emergency Squadron carried out the tour at kilometer 8 in the Coyllor sector, the search continued until 5 in the afternoon and today they will return to the place.
Family members said that Cristian Caysahuana was studying Economics at the National University of the Center. Yesterday he had classes, but previously he had stayed with a friend at his house with whom he drank liquor and his mother caught his attention, because she had previously been attacked.
Finally, both left the house and would have been by the Mantaro River. After the accident, the friend sought help at a neighboring house. When they went to the security guards, there was no sign of the body and they went to the police station to report the disappearance.
“The fall occurred in the Mantaro River at kilometer 8, around 8 in the morning yesterday and, only at 3 in the afternoon, did the search work begin,” said the sister.
