The Crime Prevention Prosecutor’s Office of Huancayo inspected the sterilization area of the Ramiro Prialé de EsSalud Hospital, after citizen complaints about possible risks in cleaning medical equipment.

During the diligence, headed by the attached prosecutor Vanesa Aquino Zambrano and with the support of personnel of the Regional Health Directorate, it was found that the manual washing of the surgical instruments is carried out following the established protocols, discarding this time an immediate risk for public health.

However, the Prosecutor’s Office recommended those responsible for the area to strengthen compliance with internal sanitary norms and protocols, in order to guarantee safe conditions and prevent any possible violation of patients.
