The traditional 2025 producers fair will be held in the Yauris fairground, but this time under new restrictions. After a joint inspection between officials of the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo and the Regional Government of Junín, it was determined that the event will take place without concerts or mechanical games, prioritizing public security.

The municipal manager of Huancayo, Jhoselim Meza, informed that the regional government must present a technical file containing contingency measures on security issues. This document will be evaluated by the Citizen Security Management, led by Noemi León, before the development of the fair is approved on the planned dates.
“The fair is going to be carried out, but under clear conditions: without mass shows or mechanical games. The approach will be clearly commercial and productive,” said Meza.

For his part, the Economic Development Manager of the Regional Government of Junín, Miguel Ángel Rivera Porras, said they are working on the contingency plan, so that the fair is developed normally. He also acknowledged that there was a lack of communication around the procedure of the ITSE certificate (Technical Inspection of Safety in Buildings), Responsibility of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture.
The authorities reaffirmed their commitment to guarantee a safe and focused on the promotion of local products, without compromising the integrity of the attendees.
