Junín’s regional director, Clifor Curipaco, reported that health personnel will be redistributed, to try to cover the gap that exists in the first level of care.
He explained that the fortnight of February, the white march of the La Libertad Hospital will begin, which is why about 200 workers who work in the contingency health center in the Arequipa Jirón in El Tambo, have to move to the new hospital. In addition, that the new hospital requires the closing of a specialist gap, especially pediatricians and gynecologists.
Director Clifor Curipaco, said that the El Tambo contingency health center has to continue working, as a containment and for this they will displace staff of the Health Center, Juan Parra del Riego and other establishments.
“We need to strengthen the first level of attention, we will make redistribution and reorganize. There are establishments with the greatest amount of personnel than their infrastructure allows ” mentioned. As part of the project for the strengthening of the first level of care, today the placement of the first stone of the Health Center of Chongos Alto is planned, an infrastructure that was declared in emergency and has an ambulance that suffers mechanical damage.
It is also planned to acquire more ambulances and equipment as part of tax works. Regarding hospitals, he added that in each hospital there is a gap to cover more than 100 specialists.
