A house that was vacated because it presented a risk to its inhabitants and remained abandoned, was converted into a speakeasy, where apparently, they attacked the customers to steal their belongings. This was found during an operation by the National Police of Peru and inspectors from the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo (MPH).
It was carried out unexpectedly on the property located on the corner of Huancavelica Avenue and Tarapacá Avenue, in Huancayo, this place had become a clandestine cantina with escorts.
After the quick intervention of agents from the Huancayo police station, two parishioners could be found inside who did not respond to the stimuli and were allegedly beaten; In addition, a kitchen was found with utensils and supplies for the preparation of the well-known ‘calientitos’, apart from liquors of dubious origin, among others.
“Thanks to careful monitoring by the Police, they were able to identify this place. Customers were found inside, as well as credit cards and other valuables that were allegedly stolen from the victims. At first glance, this place looks like an abandoned house, but rooms had been conditioned inside.”said the manager of Economic Promotion and Tourism of the MPH, Edwin Pérez.
After finding evidence that drug trafficking was taking place inside this property, the agents arrested two subjects and three women who were the ones who doped the victims they helped.
