Due to unpaid debt they sit in front of the College of Engineers in Huancayo
A nurse was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the crime of inappropriate touching to the detriment of two minors under 15 years of age, events that occurred inside a public transportation van on the Huancayo-Chupaca route, the Public Ministry reported.
The sentence was obtained by the Second Office of the First Provincial Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Violence Against Women and Members of the Family Group of Huancayo, headed by the provincial prosecutor María Adriana Gutiérrez Fernández, and was issued by the Second Transitory Collegiate Criminal Court of this city.
The convicted person was identified as Jesús Paucar Bastidas (40), who was inmate in the Huancayo prison serving preventive detention since June 2025. The referee assessed evidence such as the unique interview in the Gesell Chamber, psychological expertise and the testimony of an eyewitness, which confirmed his criminal responsibility.
According to the tax investigation, the incident occurred on June 20, 2025, when the two schoolgirls were returning to their homes after leaving their educational center. The subject was intervened by the mother of one of the minors and later transferred to the Chupaca Police Station, where the corresponding proceedings began.
