Getting a bed to undergo surgery in the hospital and even an appointment with a specialist is one of the biggest problems that patients who attend the Carrión hospital have, complex situations that the new director of the hospital, Gustavo Llanovarced Damián, seeks to solve.
PLANS. The radiologist, who was regional director of Health and left office amid questions, indicated that the surgical clinical hospital was inaugurated with fewer beds than the old hospital previously had.
“One of the immediate plans is to increase hospital beds, for which the project to execute a new building for clinical and surgical hospitalizations is already underway. And what will be worked on is the registration of the project,” he stated.
In addition, he said that it helps that the work on the Carrión hospital could finally be settled and was formally handed over, to receive funds for maintenance and execute new projects.
The change of officials is also planned, although he has not yet said who will accompany him in the new management. Pulmonologist Jorge Rojas Aire, who is leaving the management, directed the projects underway.
