Huancayo Municipality finalized the purchase of the land for the Arequipa bridge

The mayor of the province of Huancayo signed the contract with the inspector of the Salesians in Peru, Father Juan Pablo Alcas for the acquisition of the land valued at S/. 4,656,848.96, on which the Arequipa bridge will be built.

The land is 1,454 square meters, located on the Shullcas River on the border between the jurisdictions of El Tambo and Huancayo, the price was established according to the appraisal carried out by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation. Likewise, the Salesian Congregation of Peru waived the loss of profits and consequential damages that could have increased the price of the land by 20%.

The Arequipa bridge project is an important road project, with an investment of 7 million, which will alleviate the vehicular chaos in the city. Mayor Dennys Cuba assured that before the end of 2024 they will have the technical file for the work ready.
