More than 20 boys and girls with different abilities from the Special Basic Education Centers (CEBE), participated in the XI Drawing and Painting Contest “Illuminating my Christmas 2024”, organized by the company Electrocentro. The drawings were in reference to electrical safety during the Christmas holidays.

Janina Cruz, CEBE Divino Niño professional and one of the juries, stated that this contest shows the great abilities of children and called for more companies to promote these activities. The director of the “En Blanco” artistic brotherhood Rodrigo Salvador, also part of the jury, highlighted the art of the little ones.
The regional manager of Electrocentro, César Chuyes, highlighted that the company is not only a company that distributes and markets, but an agent of social change. The winners took home a tablet, a sound system and a Christmas basket. In addition, everyone received presents and enjoyed a Christmas show with chocolate.

Cirila Páucar, Nadia’s mother, who expressed her joy. “It’s very nice, my little girl has never participated, but she is excited to paint and I motivated her as a mother, my concern is that one day she will be independent. I am happy to help my little girl with what she wants. Thanks to Electrocentro for the organization and supporting children with different abilities,” he explained.
For his part, Gianmarco Mallqui arrived accompanying his younger brother. “Spending time with my brother and being able to develop skills in drawing and painting through this contest brings families together. I see participants from different places. Also when they draw something they learn something, such as misusing electricity, or not leaving them alone with the switches,” he concluded.
