Likewise, the resolutions were delivered to the new medical specialists: Dr. Alfredo Baquerizo Basurto, cardiology specialist; Dr. Ketty Pretel Palomino, radiology specialty; Dr. Joel Quispe Hidalgo, pediatric intensive care physician; Dr. Wilmer Capcha Álvarez, pediatric surgeon and Dr. Kirwen Álvarez Yauri, neonatologist.
The director of the “El Carmen” hospital stressed that the pediatric ICU was created out of a need for children not to be abandoned and for there to be a group that has administrative and legal responsibility over them. Likewise, regarding the blood bank, he stressed that the need was urgent and with this they will no longer have to request or ask for donors.
For his part, Dr. Gustavo LLanovarced Damián; Regional Director of Health DIRESA Junín welcomed the fact that the “El Carmen” hospital is preparing to hire specialist doctors, in order to solve this critical problem in the third level of care, which we all suffer from.
