Huancayo: Five stores close for failing to comply with safety regulations

Five establishments dedicated to the sale of clothing, backpacks and alcoholic beverages were closed by the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo when it was detected that they were operating without the Technical Building Safety Inspection (ITSE) certificate. The intervened premises are located in the Piura, Mantaro and Áncash neighborhoods.

The coercive executor of the commune, Javier De La Cruz Ccanto, indicated that the measure was carried out in compliance with a resolution of the Citizen Security Management, after Civil Defense confirmed the non-compliance with the minimum security conditions required by municipal regulations.

Meanwhile, the manager of Citizen Security, Patricia Alcántara Guerrero, pointed out that these actions seek to prevent risks and protect the integrity of the population, specifying that the establishments will remain closed until they regularize their documentation and security systems.
